This short video shows Baby Bird’s head tic pretty well. Even though she (?) is very mobility challenged and possibly vision impaired, she manages pretty well with some simple accommodations in her cage setup. She is very sweet (at least thus far) and is very smart and quick to figure things out. She’s also very quiet (at least thus far) for a conure. ** TWO PIGEONS AT PERSHING SQUARE IN DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE. ** LA Pigeon Peeps, can one or more of you please step up and try to catch these pigeons? The person reporting them is a visitor from out of the country with no transportation and is staying in a hotel. I cannot orchestrate this rescue. I have too many emergency situations and critical care birds to take on trying to organize this rescue tonight or even tomorrow. Someone in LA is going to have to. The white one appears to have an injured wing, and the grey one has a bad eye. The person reporting them is quite pigeon savvy and feels both would be easy catches. Let me repeat, I am not able to organize this rescue. Someone else is going to have to. I can put you in touch with the person reporting the pigeons and will text several of you that are near this location to make sure you are aware. AURA can take the birds and may be help with transport, but that’s it.
