Even though she (?) is very mobility challenged and possibly vision impaired, she manages pretty well with some simple accommodations in her cage setup. She is very sweet (at least thus far) and is very smart and quick to figure things out. She’s also very quiet (at least thus far) for a conure. Please donate towards Baby Bird’s veterinary care if you can. ● PayPal to avianunderdogs@sbcglobal.net ● Venmo: @AvianUnderdogs (6696 is the last 4 digits of our phone #) ● Zelle: 949-584-6696 or avianunderdogs@sbcglobal.net

Continue Reading....Introducing Baby Bird and Stevie! Baby Bird and Stevie are two of the approximately 300 birds confiscated in mid-October by Santa Barbara County Animal Services. They arrived on Sunday afternoon and are at the vet today. Stevie is almost HoHo’s doppelganger and is also in need of a bit of a scalp lift. Baby Bird isn’t a baby, but that was her (?) name in her shelter records and we stuck with it. Baby Bird has a number of issues that need to be sorted out. She has an almost constant head tic, a left wing injury, pretty extreme mobility issues, and is possibly vision impaired. We’ll know more after her vet visit today. ● PayPal to avianunderdogs@sbcglobal.net ● Venmo: @AvianUnderdogs (6696 is the last 4 digits of our phone #) ● Zelle: 949-584-6696 or avianunderdogs@sbcglobal.net

Thanks to your generous donations, we’re treading water and still afloat, but we have two new additions to the AURA flock at the vet today. The initial care for these two will pretty much wipe out our veterinary funds. We’ll be introducing Baby Bird (conure) and Stevie (pigeon) to you momentarily. If you can donate $10 or more, we would be very grateful. ● PayPal to avianunderdogs@sbcglobal.net ● Venmo: @AvianUnderdogs (6696 is the last 4 digits of our phone #) ● Zelle: 949-584-6696 or avianunderdogs@sbcglobal.net
