Ringneck Dove from Santa Ana

Beautiful, female, ringneck dove from Santa Ana. She is missing all but two tail feathers and has a big scab on her forehead. She is tangerine in color. This one was a self rescuer that walked right into the home of her kind rescuers.

Pigeon Rescue from Pico Rivera

Good looking, male, feral pigeon from a retail area in Pico Rivera. A kind lady from Norwalk noticed he wasn’t flying and rescued him. No obvious injuries or illness.

English Sparrow Rescued from Glue Trap

Male English House Sparrow. Another glue trap victim. Many thanks to the Wetlands and Wildlife Care Center for the initial clean up and transport! We’ve still got more cleanup to do, but this guy is very wild and gets very stressed, so it’s slow going.
