Little Mabel came home today. Her veterinary expenses to date are $1565.30. Invoice in photos. Please help us with a donation if you can. Mabel has a right leg full of pins and stabilizers. Her right wing is also wrapped to her body. This is a lot of stuff for such a sweet, young pigeon to deal with. She still peeps and squeaks. She’s on antibiotics and meds for pain and swelling. She goes back next Wednesday for a recheck. Our biggest challenge right now is to keep that right leg and foot from becoming slightly rotated and splayed. She is on a grippable substrate in her recovery cage now. She’s super cute, super spunky, but has a BIG recovery to go. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
