My name is Pumpkin and I’m your stereotypical caique – fun and crazy! I enjoy being around other caiques and will only stick to my own kind. I don’t like men and am very anxious around dogs since I’ve been attacked twice by them! So please, no dogs in the home! I need an experienced mommy who can set clear, firm rules and boundaries for me. Be aware that I tend to be louder than most caiques, but I won’t disappoint! Precious Jewels was relinquished to us on October 24, 2021. At that time, she was approximately 5 years old. Jewels was an EXTREME plucker when she arrived in our care. Veterinary exams revealed that Jewels had many foreign bodies trapped in her gizzard. These foreign bodies were releasing toxins into her system causing her to be very uncomfortable. Plucking isn’t always due to stress, diet, or environment Sometimes (often, actually) is it a manifestation of a physical problem that needs to be addressed. After thousands of dollars in veterinary care including the surgery to remove the foreign bodies, Jewels is a healthy, happy bird. Please consider becoming her forever human and forever home!

Please meet Carson he is semi-tamed once out of the cage he is a sweetheart. He is a shy but silly guy who loves toys in an unconventional way always making sure he chews where they hang from! He has been converted to a pellet diet and enjoys fresh foods.

Hello AURA’S followers!!! My name is Linkin Park and I’m about 12 years old. I can be around cats and dogs, but only when supervised for everybody’s safety – especially the 4-legged children since I like to show everyone that I’m boss. I’m currently learning how to socialize with other caiques. I have trouble accepting birds of other species but I’m sure I can MAYBE learn. I’m NOT a beginner’s bird and will need parronts that are not afraid to tell me no and put me in my place when I become a typical caique. I have a strong personality but I’m just as loving and as sweet!

Blue front Amazon

Josh is a 26 y/o male Blue Front Amazon who prefers to be around birds his size or bigger. He  is on a pellet diet of Zupreem fruit blend. Josh isn’t a talker but will step up on your hand or stick when he feels like it.  He loves to chew on wood toys. Josh had his routine physical in May 2026 with no issues other than being a bit overweight due to too many treats. Lanai — Yellow Sided GCC

Meet Poppy Do & Lanai!

They are both conures – red factor sun and yellow sided GCC. Both are 10 years old. Poppy & Lanai are VERY FRIENDLY & TAMED. They’re the sweetest birds, but of course can have their moments. Poppy loves to be in the limelight, so Poppy can pick on Lanai if she gets in her way. Lanai is a bit timid, Poppy Do is Lanai’s support and strength so they must be adopted together. They have to have separate cages since Poppy likes to have her own space. Both conures mimic sounds & will say a few words.

Red-Crowned Amazon

Meet Limón,

Limón lived with his founder for a year but was given up due to his LOUD callings. Since he was found his age and history are unknown, but he is a DNA tested male. He is definitely a character and loves attention, chewing on wood, dancing to music and his absolute favorite scenic jungle pellets. He loves to say cotorro, grandpa and more recently, mama, which he does when the caretaker leaves the room.

Meet Simba,

Simba is an 15 year old miligold macaw! He is a vocal guy and came to AURA after he was relinquished. Simba has tested positive for AG and requires daily medication that comes out to $200 a month! He is a big bird with a larger than life personality that includes playing peek a boo and always wanting to join in on the laughter.
